These terms govern your use of Markproof, operated by Markproof ("we", "us"). By using Markproof you agree to them.

The service

Markproof is provided on a self-serve, pay-per-use or subscription basis. We may change features, limits, or pricing with notice through the product or by email.

Your account and API keys

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and any API keys confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@markproof.co if you suspect a key has been exposed so we can revoke it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Markproof to violate applicable law, to process data you don't have the right to process, or to attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.

Payment

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, which also handles applicable sales tax/VAT/GST on your purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Compliance disclaimer

Markproof is tooling to help AI app builders meet the EU AI Act's requirements. It does not guarantee compliance, does not constitute legal advice, and using it does not transfer or reduce your legal responsibility under the EU AI Act.

You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations. If you're unsure whether the EU AI Act applies to you, or how it applies to your specific situation, consult a qualified lawyer or compliance professional in your jurisdiction.

Markproof is updated as our understanding of the EU AI Act evolves, but regulations change — always check the current official guidance for anything time-sensitive or high-stakes.

Disclaimer of warranties

Markproof is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markproof is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Markproof.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You may stop using Markproof and close your account at any time.
